Making great headway at the 19th DHI User Conference in Japan
On 21st and 23rd June, DHI Japan conducted the DHI Users Conferences (DUC) for our MIKE Powered by DHI’s software. Held in two locations—with the first day in Tokyo, and the second in Osaka—the DUCs aimed to connect with MIKE software users and keep them updated with the new developments and upgrades of our software.

MIKE Powered by DHI’s software seminar conducted by DHI Brazil
On 14 June 2016, DHI Brazil conducted their 5th seminar on MIKE Powered by DHI’s software. More than 30 participants from municipal and federal authorities, private companies, as well as universities gathered in São Paulo, Brazil to exchange knowledge and competencies on modeling technologies for water environments. Participants included existing MIKE software users as well as those interested to utilise our technology. They were able to access the new features incorporated in the new MIKE software suite and techniques recently developed by DHI during the seminar.

Ensuring dry mines in the African Copperbelt
The Central African Copperbelt is the largest copper-cobalt resource in the world. Ore is extracted in dozens of mines spread across Zambia and southern Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo). Many of these mines have significant water challenges due to the high rainfall and the porous nature of the host ore bodies – the Copperbelt contains some of the wettest mines in the world.
